My name is Anja Haumann and I am a professional game programmer.
I started my journey at the Mediadesign Hochschule München in 2014, when I enrolled in the game design program. I specialized in programming and created a few games during my studies.
After being recommended by my professor, I received the excellency-scholarship of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes in 2016. It was the first time for a game designer to receive this renowned scholarship (article). I graduated with top grades and received my bachelor of science in 2018.
After graduation, I worked at the Mediadesign Innovation Hub for a year. A research lab of the university that specialized in prototyping innovative industry applications. During this time I worked on innovative VR/AR software and smaller research projects for other universities.
In 2019, I founded the game studio Nementic Games with 3 friends from university. We focus on developing immersive puzzle games and developed multiple games for larger clients like United Soft Media and Ravensburger; Mainly mobile games and a switch box game that shipped internationally.
With the founding of the Film Fernseh Fond Bayern we started to develop our original game The Omini Tales.
